The merchants of SoLo are de-stashing! Come see what we’ve uncovered when we bring the stash to SoLo April 24-26th. This is our only annual storewide sale, so don’t miss it!
The famous Junk Bonanza vintage market, founded in Minnesota in 2006 by Ki Nassauer, is coming to our neighborhood! I’m thrilled to be participating as a seller, along with an amazing group of vintage vendors (I don’t mean that we’re vintage …). The show is right around the corner, March 20-22nd at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, a new venue added this year to the growing Junk Bonanza line-up. And our store is literally right around the corner (less than a mile away) … so plan to make a day, or a weekend, of it and come play with us! I also contributed a local’s list of fun places in the area to shop, dine, sip & chill … see you there!
We’re often asked about the history of the old items we sell, but it’s rare that bios come along with them. Believe me, we ask, but often it’s hearsay or speculation. Sometimes, we get lucky and we find something at the original source … a shut-down factory or grandpa’s old workshop … where provenance can be revealed. But most often it’s left to our imagination and sometimes more fun that way.
Excited to announce our outpost in Long Beach, California’s coolest new venue … Urban Americana! An awesome 16,000 square foot mid-century warehouse, filled with antique dealers, artisans & vintage inspired goods.
UPDATE: Our shop at this location is now closed. But Urban Americana remains a great shopping destination.
Stay tuned … new items to be added to the website all week!
